Today, we remember Roland Cazimero, who passed away last Sunday. Throughout the show, you'll hear the music of the Brothers Cazimero in which Roland's vocals are prominently featured, along with the behind-the-scenes stories to a few of their songs.
Here's a statement from Jon de Mello, who produced all of the Brothers Cazimero's albums and many of Roland's solo works:
"It is with unbearable sorrow that I have to acknowledge the passing of Roland Cazimero. I acknowledge, but I cannot believe it because I can still hear the music and with it all of the memories of its creation, his joy, his talent, his humor, wit and passion. When someone is as vibrant as Roland, whose music has so much energy as Roland, it just doesn't seem right to speak of him in the past tense, because it just can't be. It leaves me with no words because there are none. Instead, I'll just listen to his music and weep. Aloha Roland....Jon"
